Parsons District Schools

Parsons USD 503 is happy to announce Amanda Lowe has joined the Viking family this year as a certified teacher.
Lowe will be teaching sophomore biology and honors biology at Parsons High School.
She received her degree in secondary education with an emphasis in chemistry and biology. She taught biology at Parsons High School last year as a long-term sub first semester and was hired to teach it full-time the second semester.
“I have been married almost two years this October. My husband is also a teacher in the district - sixth grade social studies at Parsons Middle School. We enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling and spending time with our families. I enjoy reading and any type of puzzle to keep my brain engaged.
“This year I hope to be able to get my students excited about coming to biology, because let’s be honest, we all know biology can be a tad boring.”
