While reading "The BFG" in Mrs Good's class, the students learned that the only thing the giant drinks is "frobscottle." Ask a student what is so unusual about this drink! 😉 Of course, we had to try it for ourselves!

After reading chapter 5 of Harry Potter, Mr. Holmes' class and Mrs. Gordon's class enjoyed "pumpkin juice," just like the characters had in the chapter.
Miss Jones' class has kicked off their zoo unit! Students will become "expert" zoo keepers after researching their chosen animals biomes and creating plans for their animal's enclosure using area and perimeter. 🐨🐍🦍🐢

Guthridge fourth grade students enjoyed a morning filled with learning as Earth Day activities got underway. They were among 600 students watching demonstrations and taking part in hands-on activities. Every student gets to go home with their own red bud tree to plant..
Guthridge Fourth Grade are waiting for the start of Earth Day activities. They will be among 600 students participating in the day's activities.
Next school years incoming 6th graders (Class of 2031) and families are invited to the MS on May 7th beginning at 5:30pm. We will serve dinner in the cafeteria, then head to the auditorium for a presentation 'Survival Guide to MS' at 6pm. Then each student and family will have the opportunity to participate in a campus wide scavenger hunt, to become familiar with the building and resources available.
USD 503 Technology Integration Specialist Matthew Peak took Vector the Viking to visit students at Guthridge School Monday. Students will have a chance to learn more coding in middle school and will be able to code the robotic quadruped once they are in high school.
Perfect Attendance winners from last week were Kayleb Bowman & 5th grader Jackson Pegues. Kayleb's 4th grade class won the week with 75% of our 4th graders having perfect attendance for the week.
