It's a beautiful day at Independence Community College. A group enjoyed senior day festivities Friday, October 18th. Students took a campus tour, visited with academic departments & organizations, and learned more about opportunities for continuing their education.

Thank you to the Parsons Soroptimist International organization for their continued support of PHS. The biannual "Lunch with Leading Ladies" event took place Wednesday, October 16th with 19 students in attendance. Liz Cochran, Chamber Director & Soroptimist member, welcomed invitees & shared information about Soroptimist's mission. Guest speakers were Lindi Forbes, LCC Director of Foundation & Alumni Association and Temple Monroe, RN & owner of Wellness by Temple. Participants were provided lunch & listened to inspiring messages about how the speakers have worked hard to become successful in their careers and beyond.
