
The fire alarm was activated at the high school. Dust from construction triggered a sensor in an air duct setting off the alarm. Fire and Police both responded very quickly, and the students did a great job evacuating. All students are back in class and the building is safe!

Mr. Duroni agreed to be taped to the wall as a fundraiser by Student Council for the Winter Formal! Each piece of tape raised a dollar!


PHS students toured two local businesses to learn more about industry and employment opportunities. Thank you to Tank Connection and Sun Graphics for taking time out of their busy day to offer this great experience! More business tours to come celebrating Manufacturing!

PHS seniors took part Tuesday in Apply Kansas, a state-wide 3-day campaign during which students are guided through the college application process and application fees are waived to all public colleges. LCC representatives assisted PHS staff in the process. Go Vikes! #PKallday

The Parsons High School Band performed at half-time of Friday night's football game, entertaining the fans. The students commit to daily practice outdoors on the field, even on some of the hottest days. Keep up the hard work and Go Vikes!

This evenings JV Football game at Frontenac will now begin at 6:00.

It's Spirit Week at Parsons High School. Nicki Wood and Mrs. Woods have lots of Spirit for Minion Monday.

More than 315 people came together for the Parsons High School Golden Reunion dinner Saturday evening at the VFW. PHS cheerleaders welcomed them and volunteered to help alumni as needed. PHS football players served alumni breakfast Sunday morning. Once A Viking, Always a Viking!
