Mr. Gilpin's students continued construction Friday of a Blessing Box for an elementary school in Baxter Springs that wants to present it to their community as a gift. It is one of several projects woodworking and construction classes have underway for others here and beyond.

Miss Cornelio worked with her piano students Friday as they practiced on keyboards. The elective is one of numerous semester courses students have to choose from. Students can also take guitar, in addition to band or orchestra.

Band students practiced today for tonight's Homecoming game. Coronation is at 6:30 and the game starts at 7 at Marvel Park.

First year drafting students have been tackling various drawings, including the design of an arch for the entry to the Parsons Arboretum. The arch would welcome visitors and honor those persons responsible for creation of the Parsons Arboretum.

Parsons High School Math Club traveled to MSSU Math League competition today. There were 15 schools from southeast Kansas and southwest Missouri participating.
