Thanks to Labette Community College for hosting a Senior Day event Wednesday, September 11th! It was a great experience for PHS students to get on a college campus to check out activities, classrooms, and hear more detailed information about opportunities for after graduation.

Culinary Workplace & Event Planning & Management students spent the last few weeks taking Servsafe courses. Servsafe is a nationally recognized program where students learn about safety & sanitation in the culinary industry. At the end of these courses, students take a nationally accredited test to earn their Servsafe certification l. This semester, every student in both classes passed their test & earned their certification with a 94% or higher.

Horticulture students harvested fresh greens from the hydroponics lab Friday to be able to offer free greens to students and staff who wanted them. Two tables of greens were quickly claimed. Greens will also be for sale at the Farmer's Market, Saturday to help raise funds. $1/bag
